Ryanair offer flights from Dublin Airport to Rodez-Marcillac Airport on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The airport is situated about twelve kilometres from the city of Rodez.
There are no public transport options from the airport so there are two options.
1) Hire a taxi which will cost about twenty euro to get to the city and takes about fifteen minutes or
2) Hire a car at Rodez Airport (which of course is where we come in)

Rodez Marcillac is an airport which has steadily grown in stature over the years. There are two runways at the airport. The International runway is over two thousand metres in length while the smaller runway is around eight hundred metres long. The airport handles around one hundred and sixty five thousand people every year.
Ryanair began operating from the airport in 2003 with its Dublin airport service commencing recently enough (May 2008). Air France began offering a Paris connection in 2002. A new departure lounge was opened at the airport this year.
Daily flights arrive everyday from Stansted Airport through Ryanair. There are three flights available from Rodez to Paris every day as well as two flights to Lyon.
