Bergerac Airport is also known as Roumanière Airport. It is situated five kilometres to the south east of Bergerac.  The only direct flight form Ireland to Bergerac Airport departs from Belfast City Airport.

Another option is to get a connecting flight from Ryanair or Flybe. Flybe offer flights to Bergerac from several routes including Edinburgh, Leeds Bradford, Birmingham and Exeter. Some of Flybe’s routes only run on a seasonal basis. You can hop on a Ryanair flight to Bergerac from Liverpool, Luton, East Midlands Airport, Bristol or Stansted. Again seasonal departures dates apply to certain destinations.

Unfortunately there are no public transport options from the airport. There are normally taxis available which will take you into Bergerac for about twelve euro. Journey time is around ten minutes.

Due to its small size there are no shopping facilities at the airport. There is a small cafe called L’Escale which offers basic snacks and drinks.

Passenger growth has been rapid at Bergerac Airport. In the last six years numbers have been multiplied by twenty.
