There is not an awful lot to admire in the way of architecture however the cathedral and hôtel de ville are worth a look. St Peters Cathedral was built in the Byzantine-Romanesque style back in the eleventh century. Work was carried out in the nineteenth century by an architect named Paul Abadie. Abadie was also responsible for the hôtel de ville. This two tower building holds a museum containing archaeology and paintings.
